Abel Stuurman is a lawyer at Keijser Van der Velden. He is curious, enjoys working on complex issues and has a wide range of interests, with a particular interest in international matters.

After obtaining his LLB in European Law School at Radboud University, Abel took the LLM program in European Competition Law & Regulation at University of Amsterdam. Before joining Keijser Van der Velden, he gained experience at a boutique firm whose practice revolves around EU law. That experience and his understanding of EU law provide a sound basis for the financial law matters that he works on.

In addition to his legal education, Abel holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies at Leiden University.

Abel speaks Dutch, English, German, Chinese (Mandarin), French and Spanish.
